Lin Deeley’s entry form was drawn from over 1000 entries to win a trip to MGP 2011. The competition sponsored by Manx National Heritage and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company gave visitors to the Legends of Suzuki exhibition the chance to win return ferry travel for one rider and one motorcycle to next year’s MGP.
Legends of Suzuki opened on 28th May 2010 until 4th September 2010 at the Manx Museum. The exhibition charted fifty years of success for the Japanese firm at the Isle of Man TT races, and featured an exciting blend of motorbikes, film footage, leathers, memorabilia and memories from some of the top Suzuki riders of the past five decades. Still available to download from Apple’s App Store – are the Suzuki Legends Gallery app which features highlights of Suzuki?s history at the TT races through photographs, video and Google Maps. And if you missed the exhibition, The Suzuki Legends Exhibition Guide gives an accompanying audio commentary and extra information about the objects displayed in the exhibition.
Fittingly competition winner Lin and her husband Andy, who live in Brackley Northamptonshire are regular visitors to the Isle of Man and rate it as their number one holiday destination.

Manx National Heritage invites visitors to the Isle of Man TT races and Manx Grand Prix Races in 2011 to enjoy ‘Mountain Milestones’, a new exhibition which will celebrate the centenary of the Mountain Course. The exhibition will open on 28th May 2011 at the House of Manannan in Peel and admission will be free of charge.
