Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of criminal damage, which took place in Christian Road Douglas between 10pm on Thursday 14th October 2010 and 3.30pm on Friday 15th October 2010 Unidentified person(s) have caused damage to a door frame and an inside wall of an unoccupied third floor flat in Christian Road Douglas and Police are appealing for anyone who has information about this incident to come forward. Constable Charlene Dooley said “Acts of vandalism such as this cause unnecessary expense to the victim and I would appeal to anyone who has any information about this or similar incidents to make contact with me at Willaston Police Station on 01624 631212.” Ends ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ During the evening of Saturday 16th October 2010 into Sunday 17th October 2010 a white coloured Vauxhall Astra van has been damaged whilst parked on Central Promenade, Douglas. Person(s) unknown have smashed the passenger side and rear windows using stones from the beach and let down two of the vehicles tyres. If anyone saw this damage being caused or has any idea to who might be responsible they are asked to contact any police officer or ring Police Headquarters ENDS
