Established in 1965, the Isle of Man Arts Council exists to encourage the people of the Isle of Man to enjoy the arts whether through attendance or participation; to provide a sound and sufficient infrastructure for arts on the island and to promote Manx cultural identity

A sponsored body of the Department of Education, Sport & Culture, it offers grants, sponsorship and underwriting to a wide range of individuals, schools, groups and venues across the community.
