The popular Peel Pantoloons will be back again this year to bring you one of the best loved stories from the magical world of fairy tales - and they hope you're going to have a ball!
The rags to riches story of Cinderella has enjoyed numerous adaptations over time, and has become a favourite with countless generations of fairytale lovers, but in the hands of professional theatre director and writer Ben Crocker the story takes on a refreshingly witty demeanour, and is interspersed with moments of anarchic fun.
Bristling with imaginative ideas and old fashioned humour, this modern, tightly written, revision stays true to the traditional tale, but has the knack of pulling out the laughs with its fast-paced action.
Directed by Mel Read, who collaborated with Beth Colgan for the dance sets, Peel Pantoloons have brought together a large cast for this production, including some new faces, with Tim Keyes in the role of Prince Charming and Emma Chapple as the down trodden Cinderella.
Tickets for the panto, which is being staged at the Centenary Centre in Peel, are priced at £8 and are on sale now from Celtic Gold, Shakti Man, Thompson Travel, Peter Norris Music or online from the Centenary Centre website.
Performances, starting at 7.30pm, run from 7th December - 13th December with matinees on the opening and final days at 2.00pm.
