Over £3,500 raised by Manxies taking part in Ice Bucket Challenges.
Hospice Isle of Man is delighted that the Manx community are still getting behind the local charity to support its patients with Motor Neurone Disease by taking part in the recent fundraising and awareness craze - The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

To date over £3,500 has been raised for this very worthy cause with every penny raised being used to help support patients that attend Hospice Isle of Man with motor neurone disease.
The charity works very closely with the local Motor Neurone Disease Association (Isle of Man). Currently there are approximately 10 patients on the island with this disease. "Hospice has a specially designed room for these patients called the Rowan room which is a room operated without a nurse to provide these patients a degree of independence." "This room was funded by the local branch of MND with whom we work very closely."
