The Ramsey Sprint is a favourite amongst race fans who visit the Island for the TT Festival. It is a drag sprint event over a straight course measuring an 1/8th of a mile along part of Ramsey's Mooragh Promenade.
The event is open to anyone with a motorcycle. You simply turn up, pay an entry fee, there is an inspection of machine beforehand and away you go!
Spectators can watch the event from the northern promenade side of the street.
How to get there:
- By road; travel north to Ramsey and follow the signs to the event.
- By bus; routes 5 and 6 from Douglas and Peel to Ramsey.
- By tram; ride the Manx Electric Railway from Douglas.
