Barclays puts focus on customer service

The Isle of Man is taking part in National Customer Service Week this week.

The initiative aims to raise awareness of the role that customer service plays in successful business practice and the growth of the economy.

This year’s theme is insight, agility, skills, development and recognition.

Barclays has arranged several activities for clients and customers.

A team of Digital Eagles will be on hand to assist with business and personal banking needs during the bank’s opening hours today.

A Fraud and Cyber Security Awareness Open Day is taking place tomorrow to coincide with National Cyber Security Awareness Month.

A coffee shop will be open all week in branch for customers and locals to pop in for a drink while having access to resources on hand to encourage digital awareness.

Managing Director Simon Scott says: “National Customer Services Week is a key time in our calendar and each year we get involved locally.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to strengthen our relationships with our clients and share our different areas of expertise with each other.

“This year we have a real mix of events which are tailored to our clients, customers and the community and we’re looking forward to supporting the people who do their banking with us in this way.

“We encourage anyone who has questions or concerns over their cyber security or online safety to come and speak with our Digital Eagles or find out more in branch.”
