Feel festive with Manx Blind Welfare Society

by LC

Manx Blind Welfare Society is holding a ‘Christmas Celebration’ on Wednesday 20th December.

The event at Corrin Court in Onchan will begin at 2pm, led by Reverend Ian Prentice and joined by the Isle of Man Government choir. The choir will sing a selection of Christmas carols and songs to get everyone in the festive spirit.

Debbie Thomson, Manx Blind Welfare Society Volunteers Coordinator and Events Organiser, said: ‘We would like to invite everyone, young and old, to join our afternoon of festivities and enjoy a mince pie and hot drink once the service is complete.

‘We love putting on events that bring families and friends together at this time of year, and our Christmas celebration is sure to be a lovely afternoon which will do just that.

‘Entry into the service and refreshments are free, but, as always, any donations will be gratefully received to help us continue to support the more than 600 blind and visually impaired people in the Isle of Man.’

There is no need to book seats - guests are invited to just turn up on the day. For more information call 647727 or email:
