WHIreland continues to strengthen its position as one of the Island’s fastest growing wealth management businesses with recently appointed Assistant Portfolio Manager Lee Branston gaining his ‘Statement of Professional Standing’ from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.
Lee was appointed to WHIreland‘s International Investment team in September last year and reports to David Bushe who was promoted to the newly-created role of Head of Investments, International in July 2016.
In what was a busy 2016, WHIreland Wealth Management on the Isle of Man saw robust growth in international, local trust and private client business and was selected to manage two investment mandates for the Isle of Man Government. The Isle of Man office was also named as having the ‘Best International Client`s Team’ at the Wealth Adviser Awards.
Will Corrin, Managing Director of WHIreland Isle of Man, said: “We have enjoyed a hugely successful start on the Island, growing both as a business and through assets under management. We are grateful to all our clients for their continued support.
In light of our appointment to manage the Isle of Man Government mandates, and in anticipation of continued growth, we were delighted to welcome Lee to the International Investment team and pleased that David agreed to take on his new role. David will be responsible for ongoing management and development of the International Investment team based on the Isle of Man for which we will seek to recruit more local investment professionals.”
David said: “As we continue to grow our assets under management, it is a pleasure to welcome new members to the investment management team. Lee has arrived at a pivotal time in our development as we look to increase the offering from our award-winning Isle of Man business.
“We have quickly established ourselves as a provider of investment management services both to the local community and internationally.”
