No LAC of activity for Isle of Man Post Office at London shows

by LC

Isle of Man Post Office is delighted with the success of its recent attendance at the London Affiliate Conference (LAC), held at the Excel convention centre, where representatives from its Secure Direct Mail (SDM) division secured new business opportunities with eGaming companies around the world.

The SDM team were also present at the ICE Totally Gaming conference, held in the same venue, where they met with new and existing direct mail clients, before exhibiting with their own stand at LAC for the third year running. With over 50,000 attendees across both conferences, it was an ideal opportunity to showcase the range of direct mail production and distribution services offered by the business.

Niall Carey, Interim Commercial Director at Isle of Man Post Office, commented: “Our eGaming direct mail operations are growing year on year, boosted by significant investment on in-house print and production facilities, and the ICE and LAC shows are key events in the calendar for us. Businesses from around the world are in attendance and it’s an ideal opportunity to showcase what we offer.”

“Direct mail has evolved rapidly in the past decade, with new technology enhancing everything from printing techniques to personalisation. It is also a much more interactive tool, with campaigns linking directly to digital response techniques. With email marketing reaching saturation levels, we’re on a mission to spread the direct mail message among eGaming businesses and there’s a huge untapped market out there.”

New clients were invited to play an interactive game on the stand at LAC, giving them the chance to win a 1,000-recipient direct mail campaign. Players were given 30 seconds to get as many casino chips as possible through a letterbox and the winner will get to experience the benefits of direct mail for a retention and reactivation campaign. Thanks to modern printing methods, there is no minimum volume for a direct mail campaign.”

Mr Carey added: “As part of the Isle of Man Post Office, SDM can deliver a full service from data cleansing to print and distribution at a very competitive price all under one roof. We are able to inject items directly into the mail stream across the UK within one day, to Europe within five and worldwide within seven.”
