Much-loved comedian Sir Norman Wisdom is 95 today (Thursday).
Sir Norman, who lives in a residential home in Ballasalla, has brought laughter to generations of families through films and TV appearances.
Bridging the gap between silent slapstick and the modern film age, his popularity remains and only last year he was immortalised in song by a fan in Canada.
